Fine Art Photography FAQ — Seven Mile Bridge by Edin Chavez

Every question we’ve ever been asked about buying, owning, and caring for fine art photography prints — answered completely and honestly.

Buying

How do I order a print?

Browse any gallery at edinfineart.com, click a photograph, and select ORDER THIS PRINT. Choose your size, medium (giclée or metal), and paper type. Complete checkout with your shipping address and payment. Your order is transmitted directly to WHCC professional labs for production.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) via Stripe. All transactions are SSL-encrypted. We never store your card information.

Do you offer payment plans?

For purchases over $1,000, please contact us to discuss payment arrangements.

Can I see the print before buying?

We provide high-resolution digital mockups showing how any print will look in your space. Contact us with a photo of your wall and the print you’re considering.

Editions and Authenticity

What is the difference between open and limited editions?

Open editions are available in unlimited quantities indefinitely. Limited editions are capped at 10 prints per image per size — once sold out, they are permanently retired. Both are produced to identical archival museum standards.

What comes with my print?

Every print ships with a Certificate of Authenticity documenting the photographer, image, edition details, print medium, and a unique serial number. Limited edition prints also receive a physical signed COA mailed separately.

Can I verify my print’s authenticity?

Yes. Every COA includes a unique serial number. Contact us at any time with that serial number for verification.

Production and Shipping

How long does production take?

5–7 business days at WHCC professional labs in Eagan, Minnesota, plus shipping transit time. Express production is available for an additional fee — contact us.

Where do you ship?

Worldwide via FedEx and UPS. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Free shipping on orders over $250.

How is my print packaged?

Prints up to 20×30″ are shipped flat in rigid packaging. Prints 24×36″ and above are shipped in heavy-duty custom boxes with foam protection. Metal prints ship in purpose-built packaging with corner protection.

What if my print arrives damaged?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the damage. We will replace your print at no cost.

Sizes and Mediums

What is the largest size available?

40×60″ for both giclée and metal prints. For custom sizes larger than 40×60″, please contact us.

Which paper is best for black and white photography?

Photo Rag Baryta — a warm-toned cotton rag paper with a baryta coating that produces extraordinary deep blacks and luminous highlights. The definitive paper for monochrome fine art photography.

Do metal prints need framing?

No. Metal prints arrive with a float mount system — a standoff that holds the print 3/4″ from the wall, creating a clean shadow line. Ready to hang straight from the box.

Returns and Refunds

Do you accept returns?

Because each print is produced to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind or incorrect size selection. We replace or refund prints that arrive damaged or defective within 7 days of delivery.

Photography Licensing

Can I license an image for commercial use?

Yes. Commercial licensing is available for select images. Contact us with your intended use for a quote.
